Addiction (GodSpeak Readings Oct 5-10)

Speaking the Truth in Love:  Addiction

When the good things of God are misused, they can satisfy for a moment, cover up the pain and give a glimmer of happiness only to leave us wanting more.  This week, let’s learn how to speak the truth in love by walking together with those who struggle, using the 12 Steps and their Biblical Comparisons from Celebrate Recovery, a Christian addiction recovery program.

Daily Prayer: Dear Lord, keep us from those sins that would enslave us, free us from the sins that perpetually tempt us and help us walk along side others who struggle with the love of Jesus.
