German Dinner a Success!

The pork chop/sauerkraut dinner & silent auction raised $1,428 to benefit Second Harvest Heartland, the Upper Midwest’s largest hunger-relief organization. German Dinner & Silent Auction

Enjoy a German Dinner on Saturday, October 4, 2008, 5:30 pm at Bethel Lutheran Church 670 West Wheelock Parkway including a pork chop, sauer kraut, German potato salad, caraway/rye bread, green beans, apple sauce and your choice of desert bars. Hot dogs & tater tots are available as an alternative for children by requesting the children’s plate. A silent auction with items donated by local businesses and individuals will also be a part of this evening fund raiser. Money raised will benefit Second Harvest Heartland, the Upper Midwest’s largest hunger-relief organization and will be supplemented by Thrivent Financial for Lutherans.
