Read Psalm 86. How can we summarize David’s desire? How is this desire true for you? How can you make this chapter (especially verse 11) a New Year’s resolution?

Read Psalm 119:105-112. What is God’s Word compared to? What is the difference between simply living out Christian values & truly being a light of Christ? What does this have to do with our Christian walk?

Read Hebrews 4:12, 1 Thessalonians 2:13, & 2 Timothy 3:12-15. What does it mean that the Word of God is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart? What does the Word of God look like when it’s active in a believer (even from infancy)?
