Bethel Members and Friends of the Stefan Family,

Matt Stefan Ash Wednesday

Matt Stefan preaching at our Ash Wednesday service, March 5, 2014

On July 4, 2014 God called our brother Matt Stefan to his heavenly home.  He suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm this morning and was gone by this evening. Please pray for Lisa, Gus, Phoebe and the entire family as they grieve. We have lost a brother, a friend and a fellow worker in the Kingdom. We will all miss Matt so much. Please also pray for the Concordia Academy community, as Matt has touched hundreds of lives with the love of Jesus through his work at the school.

Over the weeks and months to come our grieving sister, Lisa, Gus and Phoebe will need the support of their church family, especially when the dust settles and the new normal is a daily reality.

A Service of Victory in Christ will be held for Matt Stefan on Sunday, July 13 at 3pm at North Heights Lutheran Church in Arden Hills. A reception will follow.

Please come and worship our God. God gave us Matt to know and love. God blessed us in countless ways through Matt’s life and witness. God will comfort us in this loss as we gather together and celebrate Matt’s victory in Christ.
In Resurrection Hope,
Pastor Seabaugh
