Sermon: “Vanity”

Sunday, February 28, 2010
Readings: 1 Samuel 12:19-25, 1 Peter 1:13-21, Mark 7:1-8
After a long sucession of making poor decisions, the people of Israel decide that all their problems are going to be solved by having a King.  Samuel thinks otherwise, and has God on his side.  It’s all going to amount to nothing… vanity.  Listen as Pastor Seabaugh describes in vivid terms how we are tempted to fill our lives with meaningless things when our true meaning in life comes only from God.
