In the midst of the Lord’s prayer are these familiar words. “Give us this day our daily bread.”
They remind us that we are dependent on God for everything and He is the giver of every blessing. “Every good gift and perfect gift is from above and came down from the Father of Light”. James 1:12
But some people say, “why should I pray for my daily bread? I can take care of my own needs.” But, Brother and Sister, listen, if it were not for God’s love and grace, you and I would not have anything. Christians need to pray this prayer every day. Because every one of us needs to be reminded to trust God in everything we do.
This also reminds me of Jesus’ words, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me shall never hunger.” John 6:35 A special thanks for all His gifts, especially His one and only son, Jesus Christ, the greatest gift of all time.
On September 14, 2013, Christ Evangelistic Ministries will have our first gospel music concert at Bethel. And I believe that God, our True Father’s hand of blessing is upon us. Please pray for us and our ministry. One thing I know for sure is that I will not give up, no matter the situation. Remember Jesus said, “When two or three people are there to worship Him, He is also there.”
