Christmas Craft Time on Saturday, November 11 at 9 am

Come on Saturday, November 11 at 9am (Bethel – in the conference room) for some crafting! We will be using Bethel’s glass communion cups that been stored in the sacristy to make Christmas ornaments. Supplies have been purchased and gleaned from the Sunday School supplies. If you have a hot glue gun, your own craft scissors or wire cutter please bring them. All ideas and other supplies are welcome. For any questions, talk to Lynne Rustad. Ornaments will be made for the VOA Christmas stockings, Bethel’s Christmas tree, and if you want, for your family and friends.

“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what He has done. Sing to Him, sing praise to Him; tell of all His wonderful acts. Glory in His Holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and His strength; seek His face always.” 1 Chronicles 16:8-11

WOW! God is Amazing! Bethel Lutheran attendees on Sunday, October 8 filled 120 Welcome Bags for the men coming to the Volunteers of America Residential Re-Entry Center in Roseville! Thanks to Jim Haedtke, Gideon rep who donated small pocket Bibles, to Dr Don Yeeyick of Dental Health of Maplewood who donated toothbrushes and toothpaste, Costco who donated a gift card and Thrivent Financial that provided Thrivent Action Team monies. Also thanks to the many donations of items and money from Bethel members and friends that allowed us to fill each bag with a water bottle, soap, shampoo, deodorant, toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, Bible, notebook, pen, granola bar, Rice Krispie Bar and candy!

Thanks to all who were a part of sharing God’s love for those coming out of prison. Please pray for the men and women to find jobs, a place to live, and to reconnect and reconcile with family members. Pray also that each one will know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and choose to be a part of a Christian community!
