A boy came to our village one time. He was little bit on the heavy side (too big). Noone gave him a chance to show what kind of person he was. Instead, everyone started to judge him by his weight. Unfortunately, I did also. Later on many of us got to know him better, and he turned out to be a really cool boy. I was so guilty about the way we acted from the beginning. I started to think I wish we had not judged him because of his appearance But I am sure everybody has treated someone unfair at one time. And most of us can be kind of shallow and sometime judge people by the way they look.
Brother and sisters in Christ, God who created us is never shallow. He cares about all of us. Not because of what we look like, but because of who we are. If you walk through our village, try to pay special attention to all the different kinds of people you will see. God our father in heaven made each person unique. You can praise Him and thank Him for the way He made you and the way He made other people. Amen.
Remember what scripture says: Romans 15:7
Accept one another … just as Christ
accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
