We cannot express how thankful we are for all 40 of the volunteers who gave of their time and talents helping support the Financial Literacy Class that ran for 8 sessions from September through early November. Your servant hearts all made it possible to free the students up for evenings to learn how to manage the financial gifts God has entrusted to them. You prepared food, set up and cleared tables, washed dishes, took special care of the children of the adult students by telling them Bible stories, playing games, showing movies and loving them as if they were your own children. They were all precious in your sight! And three of you participated in the financial class with the students as mentors providing insights into finances and building relationships with our Liberian friends. Our volunteers matched the participants one to one.
The participants are very excited that Bethel will be offering this class again next February! Keep an eye out for your chance to volunteer in this important ministry.
