Bethel’s Annual Rummage Sale is our main fund raiser for the education assistance that is provided for each Bethel student in our Lutheran Schools.
2009 Rummage Sale dates to remember
Saturday, May 2nd – Come and help hand out fliers advertising Bethel’s rummage sale to the neighborhood around the church … and beyond! Meet at church at 1 p.m.
Sunday, May 17 – Show us your muscles and help move tables as we clear space in the church to prepare for the huge haul of donations we’re about to receive. Work starts at noon. Please bring a bag lunch.
Just want to drop off your old stuff?
We’ll be collecting items for the rummage sale on these Saturdays: May 23, May 30, June 6 and June 13 (from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day)
Where will we put it all?
That will be decided Sunday, June 14th, through Wednesday, June 17th. Volunteers are needed to fill 2-hour time slots when we’ll be organizing and pricing items.
When’s the sale?
Thursday, June 18, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday, June 19, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday, June 20, from 9am- 4p.m.
Where help is needed
In the weeks to come, look for announcements in the church bulletin or signs posted on the education bulletin board in the narthex for where you can sign-up and help. All Bethel members are encouraged to be a part of this fund raiser for education at Bethel.
