Heaven is Real

Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Heaven is Real. Life is hard, but God is very good and heaven is real. This is what I sometimes tell my unbeliever’s friends. Because I know how easily we get caught up in our present situation and forget God’s promise of Heaven.

Paul said “if only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men”.  (1 Cor 15:19) But our hope is not only for this life, in the midst of life’s storms. Our hope in God’s promise of heaven is “an anchor for the soul, firm and secure”. (Hebrews 6:19)

When we know Christ, we know life is not meaningless, because God the Father has a reason for keeping us here. Every day is a gift from Him. And it is another opportunity to love Him and serve Him. Heaven does not make life less important, it makes it even more important. Philippians 3:20 says, “our citizenship is in heaven”. As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are to go into the world and make disciples of all nations baptizing in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. and teaching them to obey everything that God has commanded. He promised to be with us to the very end.

Last Sunday, August 24, we baptized one family—5 people in all. Mother, Father and three children. This is a joy and a total celebration. By the grace of the Almighty we are expecting some more baptisms.

Blessing on your day. Amen.
