“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith.” Hebrews 10:22
Brothers and sisters in Christ, please allow me to speak to you. Disregard your feelings when you come to Christ. Because you are not saved by your feelings. We are all saved by Christ Jesus. Feelings come and go, but Christ remains.
Only the truth matters, and the truth is that Jesus Christ died for your sins and my sins and rose again. If you commit your life to Him, He has promised to forgive you and save you.
Scripture says “God the Almighty has given us eternal life and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life.” 1 John 5:11-12
This is God’s promise to us, He cannot lie. But your feelings will lie to you, and the devil who is Satan may even use your feelings to convince you that God has abandoned you or that you have lost your salvation. But remember, there is no truth in Satan. When he lies, he speaks his native language for he is a liar and the father of lies. (John 8:44)
Brothers and sisters in Christ, it is wonderful to know that our faith is based on God’s truth and not our feelings.
