Christmas Day Sermon: “See the Salvation of our God”

Readings: Isaiah 52:7-10, John 1:1-18
There’s nothing like flying wrapping paper on Christmas!  Yet, as Pastor Seabaugh notes, the tradition of wrapping presents doesn’t really seem to have its beginnings in Christianity.  Nonetheless, it helps us understand how the greatest Christmas gift ever, Jesus, was “unwrapped” that Christmas morning so that all the ends of the earth can see the Salvation of our God.
