GodSpeak – Saints: Wasawanda and Mataka – March 9-14

Saints:  Wasawanda and Mataka
of Papua New Guinea
and Bethel Lutheran Saints, St. Paul

From Dr. Robert Holst:  These two living saints in Papua New Guinea  shared and blessed Lynne and my mission service there while  the support of USA saints, like the members of Bethel, enabled us to share the Gospel there.

Monday, March 9
Read Psalm 67. Pray this psalm (read it while praying) and pray that the whole world would know the God we know.

Tuesday, March 10
Read 1 Corinthians 3:3-9. Paul says here that “neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow”. What does he mean by that?

Wednesday, March 11
Read John 4:4-42. Jesus speaks with His disciples about this fields that are ripe for harvest. Are our eyes opened to the mission fields around us? After the woman met Jesus, she told people! Who have you told about Jesus recently?

Thursday, March 12
Read Matthew 28:18-20. All authority on heaven and earth has been given to Jesus and what does he command us to do? What promise does he attach to it?

Friday, March 13
Read John 20:19-23. What mission does Jesus give the disciples in the Gospel of John?

Saturday, March 14
Read Ecclesiastes 4:9-10. Two are better than one. Who needs your help this week? Who is someone around you who you can be there for when they need you?
