Readings: Job 1:1-12, Revelation 9:1-6, Luke 10:17-24
So God was hanging around in heaven when Satan walks up and God issues him a challenge about this Job guy who is righteous and devout… Sounds like the beginning of a joke, doesn’t it? Actually, it’s the beginning of one of the most powerful books of the Bible in regards to our response to suffering in this world.
