Sermon: “Eyes of Flesh”

Sunday, July 4, 2010
Readings: Job 10:1-7, Hebrews 2:14-18, John 1:9-14
To say Job is going through a “tough time” is to underestimate dramatically the power suffering has over our thinking and feeling.  Job feels as if God has completely ignored his situation and has left him to suffer unjustly.  He wonders aloud if God has “eyes of flesh” to see what is happening.  Listen as Pastor Seabaugh answers Job’s question in the affirmative and shows how God’s eyes of flesh look upon us with grace as well.
