As Jesus addressed his disciples for the last time on top of this mountain, he chose his words carefully. He authorized them and commanded them to make disciples for him. Then he told them to baptize in the Triune name of God. What does that mean, especially when we don’t find Jesus teaching about baptism at all? Come to the Jordan!
