The end of another year is approaching and people are already predicting what the new year holds. A year from now most of them probably will have missed the target.
The real fact is that no one knows the future , only God the Creator of the universe. We know so little about the world in which we live. Even scientists with all their knowledge only know just a little about the universe. But God is infinite. He knows it all. Why? Because He created it in the first place. We will always be confused by what we don’t know, if we are honest. We don’t even know our immediate future. James 4:14 says, “you do not know what will happen tomorrow”. So trust in the Lord who knows our future and who works all things for His glory. You can trust all your tomorrows to Him. Amen
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God!
How unsearchable his judgments,
and his paths beyond tracing out!
“Who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been his counselor?”
“Who has ever given to God,
that God should repay them?”
For from him and through him and for him are all things.
